Our last day in the land down under had finally arrived. It would be a bittersweet day. This would be our last day in a beautiful country but the first day on our journey to Dubai. Since we had seen all that we set out to see in and around Sydney, we decided to have a relaxing day in Manly. Manly is similar to Ellis Island in New York. It is where the first debt prisoners and British immigrants arrived in Australia. There is a neat museum on North Head explaining all about the British history on the island. There also happens to be a great lookout point. Almost the entire harbour is visible. This is where we would enjoy our lunch and some sun before heading to the airport for an early morning flight. Thank you Australia for a fantastic seven and a half days! Below are a few photos from North Head Peninsula.
