This is a collection of short video’s I have made for various reasons. Most of these are quick edits and far from perfect. The newest video are at the top with the older videos near the bottom. I hope you enjoy them and be sure to comment below with praises or suggestions! Cheers.
Moab & Beyond 2011 from Mark Brown on Vimeo.
What started out as grandeur plans to do a five hour time lapse of the beautiful night sky turned into something quite different.
I had forgotten half my equipment for the camera that day so there was the first hump in the road. I only had enough battery power for about two hours. What had been a beautiful blue bird day quickly turned into a grey cloudy day. I had just enough clearness to get about an hours’ worth of shots before the entire sky became overcast (you can see the clouds move in at the end of the video). On top of that all the wind decided it wanted to be killer wind and began gusting up to 30-40 mph. It wouldn’t have been terrible except for the fact we were in the desert. The sand was everywhere and when I first got my camera out it got sand blasted. It took about 30 minutes out of the time lapse just for me to clean my camera.
The short while I ended up with turned out great though. I wish I had more time to complete this video but unfortunately my personal video edits have taken a backseat for the time being (which means business is good!).
I know some of the still image transitions are a bit fast and blurry but you can always check out the picture gallery on my website if you’d like to see the actual picture. (www.theworldofmark.com)
Big thanks to Eric for an amazing end of the season hiking trip to the desert. It is always a blast to get away from Telluride for a while and enjoy a landscape completely different.
All shot with Canon 7D and F2.8 17-55mm lens.

Spring Break 2011 from Mark Brown on Vimeo.
This is just a quick video edit I threw together from spring break 2011. I only had footage from my iPhone 3GS from the trip since I didn’t want to ruin any of my nicer Canon’s with sand, water, etc.
It was a great trip with my girl Ashley and our great friends Kenny & Kirsti. We had a blast chillin’ in the sun in Florida, riding rides at Universal, and eating great cajun food in New Orleans for St. Patricks day.
Overall it was a great trip and an awesome escape from my wintery home in Telluride.
Big props & shout out to Kenny for inviting us and footing most of the bill. Thanks Bredda!

Welcome Home Ashley from Mark Brown on Vimeo.
I made this short video as a welcome home gift for my girlfriend and best friend Ashley Atkinson (www.ashleyatkinson.com). She spent a semester abroad in Florence, Italy. We tried to talk via Skype as many days as we could.
I began taking video call snapshots of her while we talked just for fun. Every once and a while one of them would be a funny face or a good emotional response. After about the first week I had the idea to take pictures each time we talked and put them into a video montage at the end of her adventure.
Once I began to put the video together I noticed I had a lot of good emotional shots of her face. Everything from joy to sadness to just plane goofy. She is a woman of complexity and emotion and I really think this video displays the true Ashley, the Ashley everyone loves and adores.
Love you Ash!

Amon G. Carter Implosion from Mark Brown on Vimeo.
A quick video from the implosion of the Amon G. Carter Stadium at Texas Christian University on December 5, 2010.
Many thanks goes out to the FTW police department, the TCU police department, and the TCU athletic department for letting me inside the ropes and access to restricted areas!
It certainly was worth waking up at 4:30 and braving 29 degree weather for 4 hours to see the spectacle!
Great memories that will never be forgotten. Great memories to be made in the new stadium starting in 2012.

GO FROGS!!
TCU Christmas Tree Lighting 2010 from Mark Brown on Vimeo.
Each year TCU has a traditional Christmas tree lighting ceremony. This year was extra special for me because it will be my last holiday season at TCU, as a student at least. This last semester has been bittersweet from the start. Graduation is exciting and joyous because I’ve worked my whole life toward this goal. Although, It is extremely sad because I truly believe these have been the most fun 3.5 years of my life. More “life moments” have happened in the last seven semesters at TCU then had previously happened in 19 years prior.
This video symbolizes the joy TCU has brought me. The friendships I’ve made along the way. The knowledge I’ve gained. Most importantly, the love of the holidays and the love I have of TCU.
Thank you TCU for giving me one last Christmas Tree Ceremony to remember for the rest of my life.
I hope you all enjoy this video as much as I do.
I apologize for some of the grain and darkness in the shots. I had to make do with the weather and lighting conditions I was given.
Even though the economy is weak, this holiday season should not go without giving. Give the gift of respect and patience this Christmas. They are free and mean more to the receiver than any material object could.
Blessed Love & Happy Holidays

Fort Worth Airshow October 31, 2010 from Mark Brown on Vimeo.
Since going to the airshow was a last minute decision I didn’t bring anything except a pair of sunglasses and my iPhone. It was to awesome not to take home some memories so I decided to do a little filming on my phone. Threw this little edit together in about 5 minutes tonight to share with everyone else.
Enjoy. God Bless America.

Lady Antebellum at TCU from Mark Brown on Vimeo.
This is an extremely quick edit I did of the Lady Antebellum private concert at TCU on October 2nd. I took some video during the concert and I wanted others to be able to get the vibe of how great their concert was, espically a private concert for maybe 2K persons.
Awesome concert! Lady A is great live. I think they sound better live than on their album.
Enjoy,

TCU Spring Graduation 2010 from Mark Brown on Vimeo.
I shot this video in just two days during final’s week at TCU. The shooting isn’t great since I didn’t have my tripod but I did the best I could. I really wanted to get the feel for TCU during final’s week. Great Sunsets, beautiful fountains, bleeding purple, and the wonderful air during graduation. In the second to final clip that is Ty Houk walking across the stage getting his diploma. He graduated with a 4.0. Congrats Ty.
Congrats to all the other friends I had graduate. It’s exciting and sad but everyone will be on to bigger and better things.
The music is by Brian Crain.
Song: Andante Cantabile
Album: Spring Symphonies

Austin & Houston March ’10 from Mark Brown on Vimeo.
A few clips from our March trip to Austin, TX and Houston, TX. We went to the Michael Franti and John Mayer concert in Houston on March 6th. Note: The concert audio was not good enough to include so studio audio is overlayed. However it is not meant to match to the concert audio. All music used was used with permission. Enjoy!
Texas Stadium Implossion from Mark Brown on Vimeo.
On April 11, 2010 Texas Stadium was imploded. It was a spectacular experience! It was also sad to see a DFW staple go up in dust. The Cowboy’s had so many good years in there and it will never be forgotten!
