A few weeks ago, at the end of July, my dad and I made a trip to Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Ashley, my dad, and I flew up in a Piper Cherokee. Even though my dad and I couldn't stay the entirety of the week, it was a great few days seeing friends and a plethora of aviation history. Thanks to Ronda & Greg for the photos below. I am tired of editing & taking photos of airplanes so I opted out of bringing my 35 kilo's of photography equipment. It was nice being able to enjoy the show without the worry of "getting the best shot." As always, an airshow like Oshkosh is a great reminder of the service men & women who have humbly put their lives in danger for our freedom & protection throughout the history of this country. I cannot thank our veterans enough for what they have given. I hope, as I wonder down this aviation path I am currently on, I can give back to those veterans in anyway possible. The joy the vets get from seeing the old warbirds fly overhead is contagious. I hope I can restore and fly some of those planes in the future. Not for me, but to give back to the guys who flew them when it counted. Thank you Veterans.
